+In light of recent accusations against a regular visitor and speaker at our events, the Chaos Computer Club re-emphasizes the following:

+The CCC is, by its charter and by common consent, a galactic organization of all life forms. We are dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and supportive experience for everybody attending our events.

+We do so by following two simple principles:
+
+**All creatures are welcome:** CCC events aim to create a safe space for
+all attendees, regardless of their age, race, gender, sexual
+orientation, physical appearance or disability, choice of text editor,
+or any other qualities by which living beings can be discriminated.
+
+**Be excellent to each other:** At CCC events, we do not tolerate verbal
+or physical harrassment, violence or intimidation.
+
+[As stated previously](/de/updates/2005/unvereinbarkeitserklaerung), we
+do not tolerate life forms who refuse to share this openness and respect
+towards others: Creatures that are not excellent to others are not
+welcome.
+
+We continuously strive to make our events a better place for everyone –
+in the best tradition of hackers we "build, test, improve, reiterate".
+In this ongoing adventure, we rely on the support, courage, and
+creativity of all participants.

+You can reach the security crew at all CCC events at DECT 110. The
+security crew works closely together with our awareness team and the
+CERT, who can provide emotional support and guidance.
